NAS Pensacola, Corry and Whiting have mandatory masks orders

Since April 5, the Department of Defense has directed all individuals on DoD property, installations and any facility are required to wear cloth face coverings when they cannot maintain six feet of social distance in public areas or work centers.

This includes:

  • Military Personnel,
  • DoD Civilian Employees,
  • Family Members,
  • DoD Contractors and
  • All other individuals on DoD property, installations, and facilities.

Commissioner Jeff Bergosh, who works at NAS Pensacola, has followed this order for three months.  The Florida Department of Health only reports eight cases for the zip code for NAS Pensacola.
