Open Books Bookstore and Prison Book Project is hosting Richard Craig Hurt for a reading and book signing for his newly published book, “A Wounded Angel” on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 7-8 p.m.
“A Wounded Angel” is a collection of 34 short stories and 16 poems in which the reader is drawn into the book, line by line, and lives the experience. At the end of each, one cannot wait for the next. With great expertise and subject matter, Richard describes his stories in meticulous detail, making each unique. He could be called the “New O.Henry.”
