Newpoint founder arrested

Newpoint Education Partners founder and owner Marcus May was arrested yesterday in Escambia County. May has been charged with swindling more than $1 million from Escambia and other school districts across the state through complicated schemes tied to the charter schools NEP managed.

May posted a $600,000 bond to get out of jail. WFLA was at the contentious hearing. See their video.
