SaintPetersBlog.com is reporting that Jack Nobles, a former longtime Pensacola city councilman, has become the first candidate to officially file to run in the special election for House District 2. Nobles turned in his paperwork in person this afternoon to the Florida Division of Elections.
The blog also reports that Nobles has signed up major league GOP political strategists to help with his campaign:
Advising Nobles’ campaign is a powerhouse team of GOP operatives which includes Chip Case and Andy Palmer of Capitol Solutions, Ryan Wiggins of Full Contact Strategies, and Rick Wilson of Intrepid Media.
Ryan Wiggins is Jack’s daughter and was a spokeswoman for former Attorney General Bill McCollum.
