Nodine trial: Defense rests

Mobile Press Register: After 2 weeks, 60-some witnesses and more than 300 trial exhibits, legal instruction from the judge is all that remains before the case of State vs. Stephen Nodine goes to the jury. Circuit Judge Charles Partin will instruct the jurors first thing Monday morning, they will begin deliberating on charges of murder, stalking and misuse of a government-issued vehicle.

The decision on the murder charges will depend on whether the jurors believe the victim Angel Downs committed suicide or note.
