Nodine Trial: Friend says Downs warned Nodine might kill her

The second week of the murder trial of former county commissioner Stephen Nodine had testimony from more technical experts, friends of both Nodine and the victim Angel Downs and Emily Simmons, who described herself as part of Downs’ close circle of girlfriends that called themselves “The Sisterhood.” Simmons told the jurors that Downs warned her that if they ever found her dead it would be by Nodine’s hand, not her own.
