WEAR TV 3 reported yesterday that the Baldwin County District Attorney’s office will perform more tests on the clothing Steve Nodine wore the night his mistress died. The former Mobile County Commissioner is accused of murdering 45-year-old Angel Downs in May 2010.
At his first trial, the jury could not make a decision on murder and stalking charges. The newly-elected Baldwin DA has not said if she will re-try the case.
Nodine is currently serving a 15-month prison sentence on Federal Weapons charges.
