Congressman Matt Gaetz will be hosting a full day of events in the Pensacola Beach and Pensacola area on April 20, for “Open Gaetz Day Pensacolaâ€. Much of the day will focus on the environment.
The Congressman kicks the day by holding a “live on location†Beach Town Hall at the Gulfside Pavilion on Pensacola Beach, with 1620 AM radio starting at 6:30 a.m. Immediately following the town hall, Rep. Gaetz will host and participate in a Beach Cleanup in the Casino Beach Area around the Pavilion. Volunteers are welcomed.
Congressman Gaetz will attend a variety of other events that day, which include a visit to West Pensacola Elementary School and a Military Roundtable. He will also do an interview on “Conversations with Jeff Weeks†that will air WSRE on 4/20 at 7:30 p.m., 4/21 at 10:30 p.m. and 4/23 at 10 a.m.
In the afternoon, there will be an “Environmental Listening Tour†taking place at two separate locations and times; constituents are encouraged to attend both the 2:20 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. events. Congressman Gaetz will then attend the 5 p.m Escambia County Commissioner’s Board Meeting.
Pensacola Open Gaetz Day will end with him attending the Blue Wahoos Home Game that evening starting at 6:35 p.m. He will be throwing out the first pitch of the game. Staff will have a “Constituent Info Booth†set up inside the stadium while the Congressman enjoys the game with fans.
