Over 23.8K votes cast in local primaries

The Supervisor of Elections website reports that 23,838 voters have already cast their votes for the August 18 primaries – 13% turnout:

Republicans:  14,972

Democrats: 7,785

NPA: 1,006

Other: 75

Even with all the protests from the White House about the “danger” of mail-in voting – 18,775 vote were cast using that method.    Republicans 11,177   (74.7% of their ballots)   Democrats 5,061 (65%).
