Pensacola Beach fouled

At 11:08 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, I received this email from a visitor from Dallas, Tex.:

I benefited from your blog reports of Pensacola Beach. Tonight it was fouled badly from the spill. Iâ€™ve been on the island for 3 days at the Summerfield Suites. I reported it to the hotline but havenâ€™t seen a response tonight.

Didnâ€™t see any effort to clean it at sea or prevent the disaster.

Thanks for reporting â€“ we had 3 good days at least. We hope for the best the area.
