Yamaha and Schmidt’s Music came together to donate several musical instruments, including six violins, two cellos, a digital piano and an upright bass to help replace instruments lost in a fire that destroyed the school’s portable orchestra room last month. In addition, representatives of the Pensacola Professional Firefighters local 707 made a donation of $1,000 to help restore the program.
