Perdido Key Master Plan Workshop set for Feb. 16

Escambia County will hold the next Perdido Key Master Plan workshop 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at the Escambia County Central Office Complex conference room, located 3363 W. Park Pl.

Consultant Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company (DPZ) and county staff will be discuss the proposed Perdido Key Overlay standards, along with changes to Article 4, Perdido Key districts in the Land Development Code, in support of the Perdido Key Master Plan.

The Perdido Key Master Plan is based on public input, planning initiatives, existing development, physical and environmental characteristics, and social and economic conditions. It is a comprehensive document that guides development and future growth of the community; it includes analysis, recommendations and proposals for housing, transportation, facilities, land use and economy.
