PNj misses the point on CMP

The Pensacola News Journal ran another negative story on the Community Maritime Park. The information is fairly accurate, but they overlook how responsible Save Our City and Councilman Marty Donovan are for the increases in costs. They delayed the overall process for two years by forcing the proponents to hold numerous public hearings and go through the referendum nightmare.

The PNJ failed to hold them accountable for the increase in costs. We could have started environmental permitting and construction in the spring of 2005. Save Our City and Donovan have cost us jobs.
