PYP hires Operations Director

Sophia Young has been hired as the Operations Director for the Pensacola Young Professionals.

From the press release: “Sophia is a Pensacola native, having been born and raised here and returning after school. She earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of West Florida. She then continued her education by earning a Master’s Degree in Policy and Administration from Florida State University. After graduation, she focused on her passion for bettering the Pensacola area by working and volunteering with many nonprofits in Escambia and Santa Rosa County. Examples of those organizations include EscaRosa Coalition on the Homeless, Head Start, and Waterfront Rescue Mission. Sophia has a passion for the Pensacola Bay Area and looks forward to continuing the mission of PYP as catalysts for positive change in our community.”
