Sixteen years ago, Quint Studer, Mort O’Sullivan and I celebrated city voters passing the referendum for the Community Maritime Park at the Waffle House on Gregory Street. We all understood that the park would be a catalyst for the revitalization of Pensacola. Last week, the Blue Wahoos won their first undisputed Southern League championship.
