Real News line-up for Wednesday, Sept. 1

The hottest topic in downtown Pensacola is the future of food trucks on city streets. We will have Downtown Improvement Board executive director Walker Wilson on at 7:02 a.m. for his perspective. Mayor Grover Robinson will be on the air at 8:15 a.m. to discuss his statement about the controversy.

The big headline over at the daily newspaper is the closing of the Hitachi Cable plant. FloridaWest CEO Scott Luth and CareerSource Escarosa CEO Marcus McBride will tell how the closure may end up with better-paying jobs for the displaced Hitachi employees.

D.C. Reeves will pre-file today run for Pensacola mayor today. He will be my guest at 7:45 a.m. He will be followed by DeeDee Davis who will take about 2008-09 city charter commission process at 8 a.m.
