Community Health Northwest Florida’s Chandra Smiley and Darrell Miller discusses the programs they offer in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

Law enforcement, during the past year has received 7,000 reports of what is referred to as financial sextortion of minors which has resulted in more than a dozen suicides. Brad Garrett discusses the extent of this problem, the difficulty in identifying the criminals but will offer information about what kids and teens need to know, what to look for in potential scams, techniques to resist sending pictures, where to report and how to protect yourself and your friends.

Florida Power & Light Company has donated $45,000 to Council on Aging of West Florida to support seniors in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. The donation will help fund programs for the roughly 2,200 vulnerable elders served by the agency.
