REAP What You Sow

This Saturday, March 31, Re-Entry Alliance Pensacola (REAP) is holding its dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m.

The garden will not only assist the ministry in serving 750 hot meals per week to the homeless and providing over 200 families in the area with groceries, but will support inmates at the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola. Inmates will work in the garden to stay positively connected to the community while serving their sentences.

Ex-offenders earn a mentor relationship with local attorneys through the city’s local chapter of the national organization, Inns of the Court. These mentees learn critical thinking skills and behaviors necessary for re-entry into society.

The ceremony will be located at Richards Memorial United Methodist Church, 905 N. T St. Open house is immediately after.
