The General Accounting Office has issued its latest fiscal report. Put bluntly – the current fiscal policies of this Administration and the Republican Congress are leading us to financial ruin.
GAO’s has done a series of simulations based on the current policies. They show ever-larger deficits resulting in a federal debt burden that ultimately spirals out of control. Whether they took a conservative or optimistic approach, the results were the same – “The current fiscal policy is unsustainable.”
