Rumors hurt restaurants

During the Christmas holidays, there was a sort of “dead pool” being done as people tried to predict which restaurants would close by Dec. 31, 2008. Three restaurants often mentioned, but still very much open, were Zea’s, Hemmingway’s and Macaroni Grill.

Hemmingway’s and Macaroni Grill are having owners changes. The managers and employees are the same. Zea’s has the same ownerships.

All three have had to battle rumors about closing. None have any plans to do so any time soon.
When you think about where to eat out next, keep these three restaurants in mind.
