Sam’s Announcement

Pensacola City Council President Sam Hall made an announcement of sorts last night during the board’s Committee of the Whole meeting.

“I’m at a state now where I’m not able to perform 100 percent all of the time,” Hall said.

The president did not elaborate, but said some council members were already aware of his situation. After arriving late and presiding over hours of the council meeting—mostly pertaining to the East Government Street reconnect—the president noted his condition and left early.

“The fatigue has been so bad that, quite frankly, I had to take a nap,” Hall described his day to the council and gallery.
