Santa Rosa Commissioners fail to win support of LOST increase

The Santa Rosa County Commissioners’ referendum to increase the local option sales tax for infrastructureÂ failed by more than two-to-one margin after two-thirds ofÂ county voters rejected the tax increase. Ouch!

Sales Tax for Infrastructure

For the one cent sales tax: 8,581 votes 32.86%
Against the one cent sales tax: 26,110 votes 67.14%
