Santa Rosa County School District assessment scores rank among best in the state

While Santa Rosa County’s assessment scores about the same as last year, their grades do rank among the best in the state of Florida

“The release of the Math and English/Language Arts scores paints Santa Rosa in a very positive light. I am extremely proud of these results. They reflect solid instruction by our teachers and a commitment by our students,” said Santa Rosa County Superintendent of Schools Tim Wyrosdick. “Even with a more stringently graded test our students continue to outpace the state average in every category.”

Santa Rosa County Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, Bill Emerson added, “Once again we’re proud of our teachers and students and their performance on the still very new Florida Standards Assessment. We look forward to working hard over the coming year to continue to find areas to improve our performance and continue to provide a great education for Santa Rosa County students.”
