Scarborough thinks Crist can win as I

On Morning Joe today, Joe Scarborough said that Florida is a state where an Independent can win a statewide race if he has the money and name recognition to mount a strong campaign. Gov. Charlie Crist has both.

Scarborough described challenger Marco Rubio as a superstar among Conservatives, as the Tea Party candidate. He added that Florida is a very big state and that moderates do well in statewide elections.

Locally, Crist’s Republican supporters are in the dark about any party switch –which has to be done before April 30. I do know that GOP lawmakers who earlier endorsed Crist have quietly talking behind the scenes about wanting to withdraw their endorsements.
