School has other buyers for Brownsville

From the PNJ article on the canceled sale of Brownsville Middle School: “Norm Ross, deputy superintendent, said the School District has received some other inquiries from potential buyers.”

Really? The community needs to weigh in on to whom the School District sells that property and the impact of prospective buyers on that community and on the nearby Oakcrest Elementary School. We have too many abandoned schools that are either rotting or have been sold to individuals who do nothing with them (drive down Gregory St. and you will see what I mean).
