Press Release: ECUA Board member Lois Benson endorses Doug Underhill, says Underhill “will be a partner that will fight for District 2â€
Today, Emerald Coast Utilities Authority District 2 Board member Lois Benson announced that she is endorsing Republican Doug Underhill in the race for Escambia County Commission, District 2.
“I need a partner in District 2 that will help us solve the many challenges facing Escambia County,†Benson stated. “Doug Underhill will be a partner that will fight for District 2.”
Doug Underhill has also been endorsed by Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan, State Representative Mike Hill, ECUA Board member Dale Perkins and the Florida Police Benevolent Association.
Lois Benson has been an ECUA Board member since 2004 and previously served as member of the Pensacola City Council and in the Florida House of Representatives. Mrs. Benson is very involved in her local community, serving on the boards of the Five Flags Rotary, The Zoo of Northwest Florida, and the Northwest Florida Historic Preservation Board
