SOGO District of downtown Pensacola is holding tomorrow its second SOGO Saturday. Between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday, November 15, shop, listen, dine and enjoy Palafox Street south of Government Street, which will be closed off for your entertainment. The newly established lunchtime trolley, The Q, will be up and running Saturday to transport visitors around the downtown area.

SOGO — SOuth of GOvernment — is downtown’s retail and cultural center. There are more than 20 stores, specialty shops and restaurants in the SOGO District.

“We want show people that they can come to the SOGO District for their one stop shopping, while enjoying our beautiful Historic Downtown,” says Rishy Studer, owner of the Bodacious Family of Shops. “From men’s and women’s clothing, to artwork and jewelry, to fitness apparel and fine dining, there’s a diverse selection of places that can accommodate everyone’s needs.”

Not only can you shop and dine at SOGO Saturday, there will be live music and entertainment including Damien Louviere playing acoustic guitar, John Ripley on the piano, and much more.

“There is so much going on downtown this weekend, we wanted to add to the excitement,” says Grayson Berry, owner of the newly opened women’s apparel and lingerie store, Between. “SOGO is elevating the culture, whether it’s through food or olive oil or clothes. We want to make everyone feel welcome and be a part of this experience.”
