State and county officials to tour Wedgewood area dumps

State Rep. Mike Hill and Escambia County Commissioner Lumon May will tour next Tuesday the various borrow pits, construction and demolition (C&D) disposal facilities and mines within District 3, as well as the adjoining Wedgewood neighborhood. The tour will take place Tuesday, July 22, 8:30 a.m., and will begin at the Marie K. Young Wedgewood Community Center, 6405 Wagner Road, Pensacola, concluding approximately 11 a.m.
