Storm washes more BP globs on Pensacola Beach (updated)

Just got a phone call from a friend renting a house on Pensacola Beach at Avenida 15. He says that the tide line is filled with tarballs (also known as BP globs). They range from quarter to half dollar size. No BP clean-up workers are anywhere to be found.

I gave him the BP toll-free number: 1-866-448-5816.

Yesterday I was told the BP’s plan was to cut off clean-up operations at 3:45 p.m. I hope that isn’t still the case.

Friend just texted me about his call to the BP hotline:

“BP was unable to take my call, but I left a message with their automated system. I guess they are only working bankers hours at this time.”
