Tea for Two

Tucked away on Alcaniz, is Bia’s Sublime Tea and Artisan Workshop, a little shop where you can purchase locally made crafts, organic loose tea leaves or even take in a sewing class.

To keep kids engaged in home economics, Bia’s offers several classes to exercise right brains as well as nimble fingers.

Classes range from knitting 101 for ages eight and up, teen sewing and basic apron making, youth and teen hemp knotting for ages eight and up, wire wrapping basics for ages 13 and up and stitch-a-monster, a class for ages seven to 12 in which kids create their own stuffed, cuddly monster.

Prices for classes range from $15.50 to $25, all classes, with the exception of knitting provide materials and tools. Parents can attend classes too for an added fee.
