The story I didn’t do

On Monday, I recognized Sheree Cagle’s name among the list of DUI arrests and chose not to pursue a story on the incident. Cagle is the principal of Hallmark and Allie Yniestra elementary school and she is slated to be the principal of the new high-tech elementary school.

The News Journal put it on the front page above the story on Tate sex assault so that it could be read from the paper’s vending machines.

Cagle is a good person who made a mistake on her personal time away from her students. I don’t think she or her crime deserves front page attention.
