This could hurt dailies’ bottom-line

The Florida House Judiciary Committee has advanced legislation that would allow local governments to post legal notices on city websites rather than taking out ads in the local paper. Daily newspapers are the biggest beneficiaries of these advertising dollars.

Legal notices aren’t cheap. The savings could be significant for taxpayers.
