Tomlinson arrest report


Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office lieutenant, John “Mitch” Tomlinson, was arrested on March 9 and charged with 120 counts of sexual battery on a child between the ages of 12 and 18. Two days later Tomlinson, who is the head of Santa Rosa County’s court security, was arrested again and charged with five counts of sexual battery on a child under the age of 12. One of the victims, who lived with Tomlinson, told investigators that he began forcing himself on her when she was in ninth grade until she was 18 and able to move out of the house.
