Trump’s name has legal trouble

Buyers of apartments in the Trump International Hotel and Tower Fort Lauderdale thought Donald Trump was the developer. He was a mere licensor who was paid for the use of his name. When the project got into financial trouble, Trump pulled his license (name) from the projects.

The buyers are suing Trump. His attorneys tried to get the case dismissed, but a federal judge denied it. Read more.
