Since 2006, four local primary races have been decided by less than 33 votes:
1) The closest was the 2006 GOP primary for County Commissioner, District 2 when Gene Valentino nudged ahead of Edwin Roberts by five votes.
2) In 2012, incumbent Wilson Robertson won the GOP primary for County Commissioner, District 1 by beating Jesse Casey by 32 votes.
