Two losses

Two media stories caught my attention this morning.

Corbett Davis resigned from the Downtown Improvement Board. He was the board’s chairman and his leadership will be missed. His family-owned Jewelers Trade Shop has been part of downtown Pensacola since 1956. He has seen the ups and downs of Palafox and has been a vocal leader for the revitalization of downtown.

‘La Costa Latina’ has published its last issue. Started by Grace Resendez McCaffery, the paper was the only local bilingual newspaper in Northwest Florida. Read Grace’s last editorial.
