Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Registration underway

Quint Studer and the Studer Community Institute talk about the value of VPK programs in preparing children for school. The Summer and Fall registration is happening now.

2017 Summer VPK Registration/Enrollment: Summer Prekindergarten registration and enrollment is happening now. This is a FREE program for any family living in a Title One attendance area. If your child has never attended a VPK program and will be attending Kindergarten this Fall, then he or she is eligible for the 2017 Summer VPK program.

Summer VPK will be held at the McMillan Community Learning Center, located at 1403 W St. Joseph Avenue, Pensacola, FL. 32501 from June 5, 2017-July 25, 2017. Student hours are from 7:15.am. -5:15p.m. Monday –Thursday. During Summer VPK, breakfast and lunch will be provided. However, there will be no bus transportation. All families will have to provide their own transportation to Summer VPK.

2017-2018 VPK Registration/Enrollment: Prekindergarten registration and enrollment for Escambia County School District is now underway for the 2017-2018 school year. Your child must be four-years old on or before September 1, 2017 and live in a Title I school attendance zone. There are 14 locations for you to choose from across the school district.
