Voter registration deadline nears

Escambia County Supervisor of Elections David H. Stafford reminds voters that Tuesday, October 9, 2018 is the last day to register to vote for those who wish to cast a ballot in the November 6, 2018, General Election.

Florida law mandates that registration books close 29 days before an election, however, due to the Columbus Day holiday our voters are getting an extra day. New registrations must be completed and received or postmarked no later than October 9 for them to be effective for the November 6 election. Address changes can be made after the books close. If you are unsure of your registration status, visit EscambiaVotes.com and click Am I Registered? to check.
