What can we expect from Moffatt & Nichol on the port?

Moffatt & Nichol earlier this year worked on the Bucktown Harbor Vision Plan for Jefferson Parish, La. Bucktown Harbor consists of 30 acres owned by the state and is leased by Jefferson Parish

The firm was one of the consultants on the project.  A nineteen-member project steering committee made up of citizens, business owners and elected officials from Bucktown and the region met monthly to help guide the process.

Moffatt & Nichol held a series of public meetings and surveyed the participants. For its Public Open House Two, two planning concepts were developed for Bucktown Harbor based on the Community Priorities Survey results and feedback from Public Open House One.

Check out Bucktown website.

The Pensacola visioning appears to be following the same process, except there is no steering committee.
