Who will be on Maritime Park board?

test The PNJ did a story on the board for Community Maritime Park Associates: Interest high in park board. This board will oversee the construction, development and management of the Vince Whibbs Community Maritime Park. The board members will be named at the Sept. 28 Pensacola City Council meeting.

The board will be either 9 or 12 members – I keep hearing rumors about both possibililties. The City council will appoint a third – either 3 or 4 members. One of which will be Mayor John Fogg. Quint Studer has already announced that Judge Lacey Collier will be one of his appointments.
But who’s on the list for the other board spots?

Buzz Ritchie, Eddie Todd, Dick Baker, Juanita Scott, Ashley Hodge, Rev. Hugh King, Mort O’Sullivan, E.W. Hopkins, Roger MacDonald, Collier Merrill, Vinnie Whibbs (III), Bob Kerrigan, Brian Spencer, Marie Young, Shirley Cronley. All have made the “short list,” but there are other possibilities that may surface.
