Work Release inmate indicted for first degree murder

State Attorney Bill Eddins announced today that an Escambia County Grand Jury indicted Justin Princes Taylor, Jr., for First Degree Murder in the death of Adnan Glelati, owner of 7 Stars Auto.

At the time of the murder, Taylor was an inmate in the Escambia County Work Release program, living in the county’s work release facility. Assistant State Attorney Bridgette Jensen is prosecuting the case.

Tomorrow’s cover story–“Get Out of Jail Free”–investigates how someone in the care of the Escambia County Corrections Department was able to allegedly commit this murder. The same leadership supervising the the Escambia County Work Release Facility will also be supervising the county jail as Oct. 1.
