Who cares and what motivation would they have to care. Is he reducing the budget that I am paying for and is crime being fought? He can wear his underwear as far as I care.

  2. Fred Sells Beds says:

We have public officals who require ‘dress uniforms?’

What does the governor wear, a white tunic with screaming eagles embroidered in gold foil on his shoulders with a huge silver sword dangling from his waistband of ivory studded leather while his hat of purest silk rests upon his brow?

    Give me a break!

Cops are generally good people who work hard and are good neighbors. They become dangerous when they think of themselves as ‘special’ and above everyone else and the law.

Morgan looks like a freak show and I would like to remind him that his authority can be rescinded at will by the the governor, any number of state and federal jurists and the people.

Politicians who wrap themselves in the American Flag (or its ribbons) are by definition obnoxious and are usually unbalanced megalomaniacs.

The uniform is his dress uniform. Relax people. Ronnie Mac had a similar looking uniform, he just didn’t have any real medals to pin on it. Rest assured he would have if he did.

    You are missing the point.

It is not standard procedure for law enforcement to wear their military medals, not even command staff. This has nothing to do with his military service.

He looks like Jethro Bodine in that outfit.

To the above anonymous, you have obviously never been in polite society, where the wearing of one’s military ribbons after retirement from active duty is considered tacky, gauche and just plain offensive.

My own father was a highly decorated officer who would rather cut off his right arm than parade around with his medals. What he accomplished in the military is a private affair and the medals reside where they should, in a display case, not on his chest every time he puts on a tie or a clean pair of socks.

Morgan is an insufferable redneck imbecile who has brought dishonor to his own military service. What’s next? A golden helmet, silver pistols and diamond studded boots?

To those who are making negative comments about him wearing his Airforce medals, you obviously have never served in the armed forces and you do not understand the accomplishments that he has made.

  7. Dead Guy says:

Is he going to allow all of the other deputies and command staff to wear their military medals on their uniforms?

Does Morgan this he’s still in the air force? What’s with that ridiculous display on his shoulder? He’s clearly insecure. If his display of air force ribbons, etc. is any indication, we’re in big trouble for the next 4 years.
