Breaking news: Scott plans $256M in vetoes…could be messy

From The News Service of Florida: Gov. Rick Scott plans to veto $256.1 million from the newly approved budget for the fiscal year that starts July 1, according to information released Tuesday by his office.

Lawmakers approved the $83.2 billion budget Friday before ending the annual legislative session. Scott will sign the overall budget, but vetoes will hit projects throughout the state.
