Former Pensacola City Council President Charles L. Bare has pre-filed for Emerald Coast Utilities Authority, District 4, as a Republican for the 2018 election. He will challenge the longtime incumbent Dale Perkins.
Bare is the last At-Large council member whose term ended in 2016. A city referendum had eliminated the at-large positions in 2013.
Interesting face both Bare and Perkins served as student government presidents at the University of West Florida.
