Breaking: FDA extends COVID tests for DeSantis

FloridaPolitics.com reports the Food and Drug Administration has provided a three-month shelf-life extension to the roughly one million unused COVID-19 tests the DeSantis administration let expire in late December. The new expiration date is now March 2022, according to a letter obtained by Florida Politics. The Florida Department of Health (FDOH) plans to disseminate the tests quickly to county emergency management offices, county health departments, public safety agencies, hospitals and long-term care facilities.
