Escambia Children’s Trust chair Stephanie White announced on WCOA 1370/104.9 FM that the board has picked Tammy Greer to be its executive director.
The ECT board interviewed the five finalists at an open meeting on Tuesday. White said, “Last night we had a regular board meeting at five o’clock, and we went around the room and we said our top pick, and we are going to offer the job to Tammy Greer. She’s originally from Pensacola, and went to PJC back in the day, and then UWF.”

“She has a staff of 49 employees that she’s in charge of. She has a board of 10 people that she reports to. She has a budget of 4.2 million, and then prior to that she was the director of compliance at Lutheran Services, and did Head Start services for them,” White shared. “And then prior to that she was at the Children’s Services Council in Palm Beach, where she did resource development. And so she knows how to do grant writing, she knows how to work with projects. She knows how to hire staff. And so we’re super excited to have her come on board.”
