Breaking news: Roy Jones to fight Mike Tyson

TMZ reports the Pensacola native Roy Jones, Jr. (age 51) and former world champion boxer will fight former heavy-weight champ Mike Tyson (age 54) in an eight-round exhibition match in California on Sept. 12.

The “Frontline Battle” will be Tyson’s first fight in 15 years. Jones’ most recent fight was in February 2018.

Tyson is the early favorite among the bookies.

No word whether Fred Levin will help promote the fight, but he may be at ringside.
