Buzz: Gulf Power prez stepping down

Sources have shared that Marlene Santos, president of Gulf Power, is stepping down after spending 39 years of service with Florida Power & Light. Santos, a longtime executive at FPL, was installed as president of Gulf Power after the purchase by NextEra in 2019. FPL and Gulf Power will begin to operate as an integrated electric system by 2022.
