Buzz: Plant Crist may convert to natural gas

NorthEscambia.com broke the news thatÂ Gulf Power is analyzing the feasibility of a proposed natural gas pipeline though North Escambia to convert Plant Crist from coal to natural gas.

A natural gas power plant requires fewer employees that a coal-fueled facility.
