Escambia County to hold three town halls in January

Ferry Pass, Jan. 10
District 4 Commissioner Grover Robinson will host a Ferry Pass town hall meeting today from 6-8 p.m. at the Ferry Pass Middle School Cafeteria located at 8355 Yancey Lane. This open forum meeting provides residents with an opportunity to get updated information about community issues and voice their concerns or questions.

Agenda items include:

Olive Road construction update
Status of Atwood CRA
Code enforcement
Ferry Pass neighborhood issues
Citizen input and questions

Proposed Concrete Recycling Facility, Jan. 10
Escambia County will hold a town hall meeting today to gather feedback regarding a proposed concrete recycling facility. The request from J. Miller Construction Inc. is for their property located at 8900 Waring Road. The meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the 4-H Multipurpose Room of the Langley Bell 4-H Center, located at 3730 Stefani Road in Cantonment.

Residents from the surrounding area are encouraged to attend and provide feedback. One or more commissioners may attend the meeting.

Barrancas Landscape and Beautification Project, Jan. 24

District 2 Commissioner and Chairman Doug Underhill will host a town hall meeting Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 6 p.m. to discuss the Barrancas Landscape and Beautification Project. The meeting will take place at the Lexington Terrace Community Center, located at 900 S. Old Corry Field Road. The Barrancas Landscape and Beautification Project scope includes median landscaping on sections of Barrancas Avenue between Palo Place and Weis Lane.
